Care - let them know that you care about them and that you want to help them
Tell - a trusted adult (parent, teacher, counselor, coach, etc) about your concerns. DO NOT hold on to this info
Helping YOURSELF - If you are having thoughts of suicide, talk to an adult that you trust about how your're feeling. Stop to see your school counselor or talk to your parent(s).

- Talking about Death
- Talking about suicide, having a plan
- Running away
- Loss of interest in favorite things
- Giving away favorite possessions
- Hopelessness, helplessness, or worthlessness
- Use of alcohol or other drugs
- Changes in personality
- Withdrawal from friends and family
- Difficulty concentrating
- Decline in quality of school work
- Changes in eating and sleeping
- Physical symptoms
- Persistent boredom
- Refusing help
- Talking about suicide, having a plan
